Our Mission: Creating a new standard for the Sales Industry in Asia

We are building what the profession never got: selling taught as a discipline.

Built from a problem I could not stop noticing.

I am Ryan Wong. I started selling at 17 through my first business in vending machines, in Singapore, and I have been selling ever since — B2B and B2C, my own floors and other people’s.

Somewhere in there I noticed something that still bothers me. Reps who sold the proper way routinely performed worse than the pushy ones. The people who listened, diagnosed, and told the truth got beaten by the people who pressured. And sales itself carries a low-grade connotation, the kind of job parents quietly warn their kids away from.

They say Doctor. Lawyer. Engineer. Accountant. Sales is what you do when the other things did not work out, a job you fall into, not one you will think of back when you were a kid. Every rep on your floor has heard some version of that, and most of them half believe it.

I do not think that is a fact about the profession. I think it is a training failure. Nobody teaches consultative selling as a system with the same rigour that pressure tactics get taught as a script, because manipulative, pressure selling is easy to teach, so the honest reps struggle and the pushy ones excel. Then they draw the obvious conclusion: sales is not for me.

Sell Right is the correction. It is a system for selling properly that is precise enough to beat selling hard, and structured enough to survive after the person who taught it leaves the building. Sales should never rely on tactics. Sales happen naturally as a result of a genuine exchange of value.

Watch my story

I am an introvert, and that turned out to matter.

I was far from being a natural closer and I am a born-introvert. Watch me in social settings and you will understand. On a loud sales floor, people like me get written off early, and plenty of them write themselves off before anyone else gets the chance.

But that turned out to be my greatest weapon. What I found is that the diagnostic, listening-led way of selling advantages quieter reps. Asking better questions is not a consolation prize for people who cannot perform enthusiasm. In sales, it is actually the higher-scoring skill.

That became a module within what we will teach, and it exists to intercept the moment a capable rep decides sales is not for them because they are not loud.

It is also the personal reason I believe System Over Personality rather than just saying it. I could not have copied my way to a top-2 finish by imitating the best closer in the room. I had to build a systematic way of selling that works instead.

I have since used the system to bring up countless introverted sales reps, because selling when done right repeatedly becomes a system that is duplicable.

Why am I qualified to teach sales?

Every figure below is one I produced myself. There is nothing here borrowed from a franchise, a certification, or someone else’s case study.

Hiring your way out

A 2-days workshop does not survive contact with a real sales floor. If the learning cannot hold up during a bad month, it was entertainment.

Closing someone who should not have bought. It shows up as churn, refunds, and a team that stops believing in the product they sell.

The belief that the right person is enough. Without a system, even a great hire plateaus, and you are back to hoping.
